Limewood Fields skate park consultation

This consultation has now closed.

The proposal is to install a skate park in Limewood Fields Kingsway.

Skateboarding is seen as a nationally recognised sport suitable for all ages and abilities with significant health benefits. Over the years there has been a number of park consolations and the request for a skate park is always very high on the priority list by people of all ages as there is no fit for purpose skate park in the Chester area. A skate park would be multifunctional for all wheeled sports including scooter and bikes of all ages and abilities.

Why Limewood Fields

It was felt that if a new park was to be built Limewood Fields offered the right level of access, visibility for safety and links to other area in the community via the Greenway.
