Acorn is a segmentation tool which catergorises the UK's population into demographic types according to multiple factors including their lifestyle, life stage and affluence.  These profiles look at the health and wellbeing of households in each Acorn type for the care community, and compare this to the Borough. Put simply, it shows where this care community is over or under-represented by particular groups compared to Cheshire West and Chester as a whole.​​
