​Review/Consultation of the Statement of Licensing Policy ( Licensing Act 2003)

Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council is undertaking a review and consultation of its Statement of Licensing Policy, which relates to licensable activities identified under the Licensing Act.  This including the sale and supply of alcohol, and the provision of regulated entertainment and late night refreshments. This policy was last reviewed in 2014 and is due to be republished in April 2019.

How to get involved

Before completing the survey please read the Statement of Licensing Policy. Any updates/to the policy since its last publication or where additional information is proposed to be inserted have been highlighted in grey for your ease of reference.

We are interested to know your views on the Statement of Licensing Policy and any suggestions and comments are welcome  If not using the online survey, your responses or comments can be sent to the Licensing Team.

Paper copies of the consultation documentation and the policy are available from the Licensing Team.

What happens next

Following the end of the consultation period a report will be produced summarizing all the relevant feedback and all views will be considered when finalising the Policy before it is approved. The amended policy will then be published  on the website.
