Little Stanney Parish Community Governance Review

​Cheshire West and Chester Council is carrying out a public consultation in relation to draft recommendations for the community governance review of Little Stanney parish.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has received a request from Little Stanney and District Parish Council to review and extend the boundary of Little Stanney parish. Following an initial consultation, the Community Governace review committee has now agreed draft recommendations which members of the public are invited to comment on.

The additional areas to add to the Parish could be:

  • The boundary of the existing parish of Little Stanney should be redrawn to the north to transfer land adjacent to the A5117 and the B5132 including the properties of Lime Tree Farm, Stanney Lane, 2 – 14 Wood Farm Close (even numbers); 1 – 23 Wood Farm Close (odd numbers); and 20 – 30 Stanney Lane (even numbers) from the unparished area of Ellesmere Port, shown as area C on the map. The boundary of the existing parish of Little Stanney should be redrawn to the north to transfer land adjacent to the A5117 and the B5132 including the properties of Lime Tree Farm, Stanney Lane, 2 – 14 Wood Farm Close (even numbers); 1 – 23 Stanney Lane (odd numbers) and 20-30 Stanney Lane (even numbers) from the unparished area of Ellesmere Port, shown as area C on the map.
