What we are consulting on

We want to understand any issues relating to homelessness in Cheshire West and Chester.

What you tell us will be used to help develop a new homelessness strategy, to help prevent homelessness and improve support for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the area.

How your views will be used

Your views will inform the Council’s Homelessness Review, which will be used to develop a new homelessness strategy for Cheshire West and Chester.

This strategy will seek to help prevent homelessness and improve support for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the area.

The Homelessness Review will be published at the end of July 2019 and we will consult on the draft homelessness strategy from early August 2019.

The new strategy will be published in January 2020.

We welcome views from all sections of the community and would encourage everyone to take part in this consultation. Note that the Council has a responsibility to make sure that its services are available to all, regardless of race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, religion or belief or sexual identity. Comments that are offensive to particular groups or considered inappropriate under the Equality Act 2010 will not be considered or published as part of this consultation.
