Acresfield Primary School consultation

​Closing date: Sunday 25 November 2018

We wish to consult with parents, staff, governors, neighbouring schools, the local community and other key stakeholders in connection with a proposal to make a ‘prescribed alteration’ to Acresfield Primary School.

The proposal is: 

  • To make a permanent increase in the age range of the school from 4-11 to 3-11 years of age.

The Consultation period will run from Monday 22 October to midnight on Sunday 25 November 2018.

  • Drop-in event: There will be a drop-in event at the school on Thursday 25 October 3pm – 7pm, where local authority officers will be available to answer your questions where possible, and note any comments you would like to feedback. The drop in event is open to all who may have an interest in the consultation proposals, not just the immediate school community.

What happens next

Following the end of the consultation period, the Director of Education will consider feedback received and decide whether to proceed to issue the required public notice.
If the proposals are progressed a four week period of representation will follow the publication of the public notice, after which the Council will make a final decision.
