Publication Scheme

Each public authority subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 must have a publication scheme. In 2014, the Government issued the new Local Government Transparency Code which sets out categories of information that all Councils should start publishing. Most of the information is already published around many of our website or affiliate websites, the publication scheme helps this information become easily obtainable for every user.

Who we are and what we do

What we spend and how we spend it

What our priorities are and how we are doing

How we make decisions

Our policies and procedures

Lists and Registers

Services provided by the council

Information that existed on the former borough and county websites

If you are looking for information that was available on the pre-Cheshire West and Chester Council websites, you may find it useful to visit the Internet Archive's 'Waybackmachine' to view archived versions of these sites as they have now been decommissioned.
