The council places great importance on working with our public, private, community, voluntary and faith sector partners across West Cheshire. With a move towards more integrated public services in West Cheshire through the Altogether Better Scheme.
Under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, the council is required to produce a Sustainable Community Strategy for promoting or improving the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of their area and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.
The council is also required to produce a Health and Wellbeing Strategy which will provide all partners with a set of jointly agreed priorities to improve the health and wellbeing of communities across the borough. Once in place, this joint strategy will sit alongside the Integrated Strategic Needs Assessment which contains more detailed intelligence for commissioners.
